CAODURO’S PRODUCT: ADVANTAGES
Durability
The use of polycarbonate sheets protected against UV rays avoids the degradation of the optical (opacification) and mechanical (embrittlement) characteristics that occur with other transparent semi-finished products, as a result of continuous exposure to atmospheric agents.
Lightness
Polycarbonate is much lighter than glass. It allows us to cover large surfaces even in the absence of supporting structures. This also simplifies handling and installation operations and also reduces installation costs.
UV protection
Our products have specific UV protection which decreases the tendency to yellowing and color variations, even after long exposure to the sun.
Light transmission
The polycarbonate we use allows the light to filter inside the building, maximizing the benefits of natural lighting and solar radiation. It reduces the use of other sources of artificial lighting.
Fireproof capacity
Polycarbonate does not spread flames in case of fire. It is therefore considered a fireproof material and complies with current fire regulations.
Thermal insulation
The closing system and the polycarbonate of the sheets allow the building to be thermally insulated, avoiding heat loss. For this purpose, we have designed the green “climate control” material.
Customizable colors
The standard production uses sheets of transparent neutral and opal white colors. On request, depending on the quantity and size, it is possible to install domes and skylights with different colors.
Tailored design
We give the possibility to create customized covers and to install our ventilation devices with electric control.
Old roofs adjustment
More and more often we face the problem of adapting existing buildings to the regulations in force, especially concerning smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems. We make it possible to replace the existing slabs with prefabricated bases, without additional treatment.
